Kurt and Jani,
This is Linda, John Scannell's former bride. I learned of your family's struggle yesterday and have read the entire blog.
First, I will never forget the warmth and unity you exhibited during John's and my wedding and the most beautiful and heartfelt wedding gift - Jani the capturing of our children in your beautiful painting. And then our delightful follow-up visit with you and your children when John and I came for Christmas.
I know in my heart of being that you will weather this perfect storm. True love and faith can conquer all. I still love that difficult man and know that I have not sustained the turmoil for a decade for nothing - we all are worthy of great devotion.
May I pass along two of my favorite literary quotes which have sustained me during some very trying times. They support the belief that you, Kurt, have much more to give while on this earth. We need your presence - continue the good fight~victory is at hand:
