11/8

been home for a couple of days, and it's been great. feeling fine, just don't have a lot of energy. i think that's why they sent me home. build myself up, so they can give the next treatment. meeting with the oncologist next thursday. hope to have a much clearer idea of what my immediate future holds. won't have any more news until then. my hair is definitely thinning out, as the picture shows. keep the faith.

Hey Kurt, have missed your up dates. your looking good. I was out last night and I counted 6 completely bald (white) guys and they were all doing just fine. Of course none were talking to me, so how do you think I feel. Guess they haven't seen me in my bikini. Haha
Love you, TMILCJI

I'll bet watching the Bears lose from you sofa is no less painless than from that damn bed...by the way, dobie, whatever happened to the plasma tv for CD?

Kurt:

With all that hair out of your face, it is easy to see that you have Grandpa Bodell's eyes.

We're still pulling for you everyday, Kurt.
On the negative side, the Bears (and multimillion dollar man Urlacher) stunk yesterday, and unless you can do something fast, Jimmy Johnson is a shoe-in.

KURT,
IT WAS SO GOOD SEEING YOU YESTERDAY. YOU'LL GET STRONGER AND STRONGER AT HOME. HOME IS WHERE THE HEART IS. KEEP EATING AND WALKING. YOU LOOK GREAT. QUIT WORRYING ABOUT THE HAIR. IT WILL GROW BACK.

LOVE,
DUKE & LINDA

Hello Kurt,

Your Mom told me you'd been sick. Just wanted you to know that I'm praying for you and pulling for you. It's a pretty major bump in the road, but you'll pull through fine (you're from good stock!).
