Hi Kurt--
We just got the most joyful and tearful and wonderful call from your brother telling us that he has been informed that his blood matches yours!!! We pray that it is not necessary, but it's good to know that a perfect match is available if needed. Great!
Keep thinking positive thoughts . . . Love, Mom and Dad

HI KURT,

SOUNDS LIKE YOUR HAVING A"HELL WEEK" IN THE HOSPITAL. WE HOPE THIS IS THE WORST AND YOU'LL START CLIMBING THE LADDER UP. ONCE THEY FIND OUT WHERE YOUR INFECTION IS THEY CAN GET YOU BACK ON THE UPSIDE. WE LOVE YOU AND ARE PRAYING FOR YOU.

my dearest friend Kurt, I was getting ready to take a lunch break when Joe called and told me the news today. I thought i would never have that feeling in my stomach again. I am talking from experience when I tell you that this will be another chapter in your life. it will not be a fun one but we will be talking about it 25 years from now. I have loved you since the day we met, and you are 100% right when you say we are lucky we did not go to school together. if you or your family needs anything please let me know. I told my children this evening so you have all the fasano,s thoughts and prayers going forward. I am sorry I didn't find out until this evening . please tell your family we are behind you, we used to call the bone marrow hip thing the ice cream scooper, This will be a walk in the park compared to your skydiving adventure. please call and let me know when i can come and see you,
